When I started Golden Age Placement Services, it wasn’t just a business idea—it was a calling. As a social worker in the Transitional Care Program, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside older adults and their families during some of the most uncertain and emotional times in their lives. I saw the confusion, the overwhelm, and the isolation that can come with navigating aged care—and I knew we could do better.

Originally from Malaysia, I moved to Perth in 2012 to pursue my studies and completed my degree in Social Work at Curtin University. Over the years, I’ve come to understand just how deeply people value clarity, connection, and compassion—especially when it comes to something as personal as ageing and care.

Golden Age Placement was born out of that understanding. My mission is simple: to offer guidance that feels personal, support that’s grounded in experience, and solutions that help people feel safe, heard, and empowered.
